This studio newborn session was a beautiful reminder of just how special it is to slow down and preserve this season exactly as it is—tiny features, peaceful expressions, and the calm that settles in when a brand-new baby feels safe and comfortable.

Photographed in my studio, this session focused on a soft, neutral color palette paired with natural textures and simple styling. This baby did wonderfully throughout the session, allowing for a relaxed pace and a variety of classic newborn poses. One of the most important parts of my workflow is following the baby’s lead—moving slowly, allowing time for soothing and feeding, and creating a calm environment where parents can truly relax. Sessions are never rushed, which makes for a peaceful experience and beautifully natural images.
