As I reflect on 2025, my heart feels incredibly full. This year brought so many tiny new faces into my studio, each one a reminder of just how special and fleeting the newborn stage truly is. Photographing newborns is one of the greatest honors of my work, and 2025 was filled with moments I’ll always treasure.

Every session began quietly—soft light, gentle movements, and a brand-new family learning each other in real time. From the tiniest curled fingers to the way newborns instinctively settle into their parents’ arms, these sessions are never rushed. They’re intentional, calm, and focused on preserving what life looks like in those first days together.

Every Baby, A Completely Unique Story

Although the setup may feel simple and timeless, no two newborn sessions are ever the same. Some babies slept peacefully the entire time, while others preferred to be wide-eyed and curious. Some sessions were filled with siblings eagerly peeking in, while others were quiet and intimate, centered solely on new parents soaking in every moment.

What ties every session together is connection—the way parents look at their baby with awe, the protective hands resting gently on tiny backs, and the overwhelming love that fills the room. These are the details that matter most, and the ones I’m always watching for through my lens.

The newborn stage passes quickly—often faster than we expect. In just a few weeks, babies stretch out, lose their newborn features, and begin to change almost daily. Newborn photography preserves:
