There is something so special about welcoming a returning family back into the studio—especially when it’s for baby number three. Watching families grow over the years is one of the greatest joys of what I do, and this cozy maternity session was such a beautiful reminder of that.

This sweet mama came back to see me as they prepare to welcome their third little one, and it truly felt like catching up with old friends. From the moment they stepped into the studio, everything felt relaxed, natural, and full of warmth. These are the kinds of sessions I love most—comfortable, connection-focused, and filled with genuine emotion.

For this session, we kept everything very casual and cozy with soft textures, warm neutral tones, and a laid-back styling approach that matched their family perfectly. Mom looked absolutely beautiful in a soft rose gown that added the perfect touch of elegance while still feeling effortless and comfortable. The cozy bed setup created such an intimate, lifestyle-inspired feel, making it easy for everyone to simply snuggle in and enjoy the moment together.

Big brother and big sister were so sweet with their mama, already showing so much love for their newest sibling. Some of my favorite images from the session are the ones where they are all piled together on the bed, smiling, laughing, and soaking in this exciting season before life changes in the sweetest way again. Those candid in-between moments always tell the story best.

I also made sure to capture a few simple portraits of just mama, highlighting the quiet anticipation and beauty of this pregnancy. After carrying and loving two babies already, there is such a different kind of confidence and tenderness that comes through during a third maternity session. It’s emotional in the most beautiful way—knowing what’s ahead, cherishing the last moments as a family of four, and celebrating the little life that is about to make them five.

Sessions like this are such a wonderful way to document not just the pregnancy, but the connection and story of the whole family. Baby #3 is already so deeply loved, and these images will forever be a reminder of the excitement, coziness, and joy that filled this chapter.
