As a Fort Worth Baby Photographer it’s an exciting and heartwarming experience for everyone to capture this milestone. At this age, the baby is usually sitting up, crawling, and maybe even standing up, which makes for adorable moments. Kaylee came back to see me at 9 months old for her milestone session.

Before the photoshoot, I communicated with the parents to discuss their expectations and preferences. This included discussing the theme, color scheme, outfits, props, and any special requests. Mom wanted to do a milk bath with sunflowers and recreate a pose we did when she was a newborn. I love the way it all came out.

During the photoshoot, I create a relaxed and comfortable environment for the baby and the parents. This usually includes playing music and making silly faces or noises to get the baby’s attention. It is important to work around the baby’s schedule, such as nap times and feeding times, to ensure that they are well-rested and happy.

The photoshoot may involve a variety of poses and settings, such as close-ups, full-body shots, and photos with the parents. I use a variety of props, such as baskets, blankets, and accessories, to add interest and variety to the photos.

One of the most important things to keep in mind during a baby photoshoot is safety. I always have a parent nearby to help support the baby and prevent any accidents.

After the photoshoot, I edit and retouch the photos to enhance their quality and appearance. They will then come back to the studio to select their high-quality digital images, which they can use to create prints, albums, or other keepsakes.
